RCWL-1501 module (unconfirmed)

Status​

  • Identified by marking: RCWL-1501 (seen on PCB)
  • Function: unconfirmed (likely a small sensor/interface module)
  • Photos: back-side photo provided (2026-02-18)

What we still need​

To correctly document + build a reusable firmware block, please provide:

  1. Front-side photo (the side with silkscreen pin labels, if any)
  2. Product link (AliExpress/vendor/datasheet) if you have it
  3. Any packaging label / part number
  4. How many pins and what they are labeled (VCC/GND/OUT/etc)

Interface (tentative)​

  • 4-pin header suggests something like: VCC, GND, OUT, (EN/SEL/NC) or similar.
  • Do not connect to 5V/3.3V until pinout is confirmed.

Planned firmware block (RAK3112)​

Once pinout is confirmed, we will generate:

  • GateS_rcwl_1501 bring-up gate
  • A minimal driver wrapper + example
  • Deterministic logs: probe, baseline, events
